10,000 by 2010 Subsidy Fund Campaign
Generating funds for a local youth sport program just had to be fun for the staff, easy to use for their supporters and unique enough to draw the public interest. Together with the program directors we developed a pledging campaign to help generate funds for their Staff Subsidy Fund. The fund exists as a cushion for the program directors as they look to raise their salary each month in order to continue serving the youth. To generate these additional funds we developed an online pledging system that could be accessed by individuals, businesses or sponsors, we arranged on air interviews for the directors, and created fun sport cards for each director detailing pledging information. The Subsidy Fund Campaign was debuted at the CHVN 95.1 & Ignite 107 Grey Cup Party in Winnipeg where a Bomber Prize Package helped to raise funds on their behalf and an opportunity to speak about their program was a highlight of the evening for the directors. The campaign will run into summer of 2010 with a donation goal of $10,000.
